Saturday, May 17 2008 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. (Event venue – Green McAdoo Cultural Center lawn) New Harvest Bluegrass Gospel band that is celebrating 20 years of music ministry. Since the group's inception in 1988, New Harvest has presented their brand of music in an up-tempo, contemporary style. New Harvest is a four man group, including brothers Greg and Warren Marlow, Robert Powell, and Steve Bruce. Greg, Warren, and Steve has been with the group since the beginning. Robert joined the group in 1992.

New Harvest sings and plays with conviction, based on the ministry aspect of their music. The group was formed on the premise that this would be a ministry. The name for the group is derived from John 4:35, "Look on the fields, for they are white." That is the basis for the band. There is a world full of people who need Christ. New Harvest knows that it can reach a share of them with Bluegrass Gospel music. New Harvest has played on stages throughout the Eastern and Central United States. They have played in churches, auditoriums, concert halls, and music festivals with some of the most recognizable names in Bluegrass and Southern Gospel music.
